Private Chauffeur Service in Cape Town

Your chauffeur meets you in the arrivals hall at Cape Town International with a name board, takes your luggage and walks you to the car. We track your flight, so a delay simply moves the pick-up. The drive to the City Bowl or the V&A Waterfront is about 20 km, roughly 20 to 30 minutes outside rush hour; Stellenbosch is about 35 minutes and Franschhoek about an hour.

The chauffeur day rate of R2,800 covers up to ten hours of your chauffeur's time, added to the daily rate of the car. Use the day however you like: meetings across the city in the morning, a drive down the peninsula in the afternoon, dinner in Camps Bay in the evening. Your chauffeur waits while you're at each stop.

• Longer days beyond ten hours, very early starts and late-night returns are quoted with your itinerary.
• Multi-day tours (the Garden Route, the West Coast, Hermanus) are quoted to include your chauffeur's accommodation and meals where needed.
• Part-day bookings under a full day are quoted individually; tell us the times and we'll confirm the price.

South Africa's legal limit is a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.05 g per 100 ml (0.02 g for professional drivers), and a couple of tastings at three estates can take you over it. With a chauffeur, nobody has to count glasses.

A typical day leaves the city around 09:30, takes the N2 and R310 to Stellenbosch, crosses the Helshoogte Pass to the Banhoek and Franschhoek valleys for lunch, and returns via the R45 and N1 by early evening, all comfortably within ten hours.    Plans change on holiday. Message your chauffeur; if the change adds hours or distance, we confirm the cost before you go.
