1.What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local and session storage, and the cache a service worker keeps so a progressive web app (PWA) can work offline. This policy covers all of these on mylzrentals.co.za and the Mylz Rentals app, and forms part of our Privacy Policy (POPIA).
2.What we use
We use only strictly necessary and functional cookies and storage. We do not use third-party advertising, tracking or social-media cookies, and we do not currently use third-party analytics cookies.

When you pay, you are redirected to or shown a secure form by our payment gateway (PayFast or Yoco). Those providers set their own strictly necessary cookies for security and fraud prevention, governed by their own policies.
3.Why we don't show a cookie banner
Strictly necessary cookies are needed to provide the service you ask for (for example, signing in or keeping a secure session) and functional storage only remembers choices you made. Because we do not use advertising or tracking cookies, we do not ask for cookie consent. If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before setting them.
4.How to control cookies & storage
- Browser settings: you can view, block and delete cookies and site data in your browser's privacy settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies you will not be able to sign in or book online.
- The app: to remove the offline cache, clear the site data for mylzrentals.co.za or uninstall the app from your home screen.
- Notifications: turn push notifications off in your browser or phone settings for mylzrentals.co.za.
- Signing out deletes the session cookie from your browser and ends the session on our server.

5.Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever we change the cookies or storage we use. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
